About the role
We are looking for full-stack .NET developers who want to be part of a Tribe responsible for developing and maintaining one of the company’s biggest core systems.
We have built our digital platform, Waypoint, from scratch — a unified solution for all services and business areas, utilizing modern technology. Waypoint is one of the Nordic region's largest .NET products. Every day, we focus on finding smarter solutions for our customers and ourselves. We are a team of over 150 people working in 12 cross-functional, independent squads to deliver a stable, scalable, and secure insurance platform. Waypoint is a complex and exciting system, continuously in need of skilled and committed individuals. This is where you come in.
We are looking for multiple developers to join one of Waypoint squads – Policy Edit or Policy Base, but at the same ready to contribute to the rest of the Tribe as well.
What are you going to do?
As a squad member in Policy Edit, you’ll contribute to digital solutions that support insurance purchase and editing processes for Swedish private customers. The team focuses on enabling seamless digital flows through integrations for cases requiring additional steps like eHD or pre-payment, helping both customers and frontliners manage policies efficiently. The squad consists of developers, QA, and business roles located in Riga, Stockholm, and Oslo.
As a squad member in Policy Base, you’ll be working with one of the most central squads in the Policy domain. The team has the overall responsibility for policy processes, with a strong focus on automation and stability. Business responsibility includes managing the portfolio of policies, ensuring validity through rules and controls, and handling information about coverage and premiums. By delivering smart automation of policy processes, the squad enables efficient, scalable, and reliable handling of insurance policies across multiple business areas. The squad consists of developers, QA, and business roles located in Riga, Stockholm, and Oslo.
With us, you’ll have the opportunity to actively contribute and influence decisions in your squad, delivering solutions that impact a very large number of users and customers. At Waypoint, you’ll also have the chance to work closely with technical and domain experts, developers, quality engineers, architects, and analysts — both within and outside your squad. There are great opportunities to continue growing as a full-stack developer or to explore paths into management or architecture.
What do we expect from you?
We are looking for a driven full-stack developer with experience in back-end development who wants to create fast and durable solutions that are user friendly. You see knowledge-sharing as a natural part of your work. You are also a team player with a natural appetite for learning new things and challenging yourself. Additionally, you are service minded and happy to support both squad members and stakeholders.
