About the role
We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Specialist to join our QA Chapter, supporting Digital Sales–oriented squads across the Nordics. This role focuses on ensuring the highest quality of our webshop applications and delivering exceptional digital experiences for our customers.
You will play a key role in building and maintaining automated API and UI testing frameworks using Playwright, with deep integration into Azure DevOps Test Plans for enterprise-grade test management.

You’ll collaborate closely with developers, content managers, and product owners in a cross-functional setup to ensure reliable, secure, and seamless digital solutions.
What are you going to do?
Test Planning and Execution
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts in Azure DevOps Test Plans to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Execute functional, regression, performance, and API tests to verify application stability and functionality
- Participate in sprint activities to ensure testing is embedded in the development process
Automation
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing for API and UI layers using Playwright
- Utilize Page Object Model (POM) architecture for scalable and maintainable test automation
- Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
- Deliver reporting for visibility and traceability
Security and Reliability
- Conduct comprehensive testing to identify vulnerabilities in web infrastructure and applications
- Collaborate with developers to address and remediate issues early in the lifecycle
Collaboration
- Work closely with developers, content managers, and product owners to ensure a proactive approach to testing
- Provide expert input on testing strategy, tooling, and automation best practices
Documentation
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation of test cases, test results, and automation frameworks
- Continuously improve test documentation and process transparency
What do we expect from you?
Must have
- 3+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer or Test Automation Specialist focused on web development
- You hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or possess equivalent professional experience
- Solid understanding of test automation, web application architecture, and security principles
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (experience with Selenium or Cypress as an alternative)
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as C# or Python
- Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with cross-functional Nordic delivery teams
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving
- A proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement in quality practices
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required to work with colleagues from different countries

- Monthly salary: €3500 - €4800 gross depending on your qualifications
