About the role
As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will be part of the Tech Learning & Growth team across the Nordics and Baltics, supporting the learning culture of If’s Tech community (~1500 employees). You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues, trainers, and subject matter experts to coordinate engaging learning experiences, organize events, and ensure that our L&D initiatives run smoothly and reach the right people.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in learning and development while also gaining insights into adult learning principles, instructional design, and stakeholder collaboration. Whether your long-term interests lie in deepening your expertise in program coordination, expanding into instructional design, or pursuing a broader L&D career path, you’ll find strong support for professional development.
What are you going to do?
- Coordinate and organize learning events, workshops, and training sessions across the Nordics and Baltics
- Work with trainers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to clarify learning goals and align on content focus
- Support learning needs assessments by gathering input and helping translate them into clear priorities
- Facilitate small group discussions or input sessions to collect stakeholder perspectives and strengthen program design
- Ensure smooth event logistics – scheduling, communication, materials, and participant follow-up
- Manage sessions and track participation using Workday Learning and other tools
- Collect and analyze event feedback to continuously improve learning programs and the participant experience
- Coordinate and create L&D communications that raise awareness and engagement with learning initiatives
- Stay up to date not only with learning and development trends, but also with IT/Tech practices to ensure relevance for our ~1500 tech professionals
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement of our L&D practices
What do we expect from you?
Must have
- Some experience coordinating events, workshops, or projects – ideally in a corporate or learning environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders from different countries and present information clearly
- Skills in creating engaging communication materials (presentations, intranet articles, event invitations, etc.)
- Confidence using digital tools for scheduling, communication, and data tracking (e.g., MS Teams, Excel, or similar)
- Curiosity and motivation to grow in the field of learning and development
Nice to have
- Experience working with a Learning Management System (e.g., Workday Learning)
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design basics
- Previous facilitation experience (e.g., group discussions, feedback sessions, icebreakers)
- Experience collecting and analyzing feedback data to improve programs or events
- Awareness of IT/Tech trends and practices, with interest in learning about technical domains
- Experience collaborating with trainers, SMEs, or leaders to align learning content and delivery
