About the role
As a Front-end Developer (Nordic Claims), you will be a part of Intake squad within the Cure Tribe, a cross-functional team shaping the future of digital claims handling. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across the Nordics and Baltics to deliver intuitive, efficient, and accessible solutions for millions of customers — from private individuals to commercial and industrial clients.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in front-end development while also gaining insights into back-end integrations, system architecture, and scalable digital services. What are you going to do?
- Develop and maintain responsive, accessible UI component libraries aligned with our design system
- Build scalable, secure, and high-quality web applications
- Work alongside designers to build intuitive and inclusive user experiences
- Conduct and act on accessibility testing feedback
- Collaborate with back-end developers and integration teams to understand system behavior and data flow
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, coordinating across disciplines when needed
- Continuously improve development practices and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team
What do we expect from you?
Must have
- 3+ years of experience with TypeScript and React (including functional components, styled components, MobX, RxJS)
- Strong understanding of modern frontend tooling: monorepo architecture, pnpm, bundlers (Vite, Rollup, Webpack), CSS-in-JS
- Awareness of web application accessibility standards
- Experience with 3rd-party design systems and component reuse
- Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Basic understanding of backend systems, integration patterns, and APIs
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles
- Day-to-day responsibilities require a good/excellent level of English to communicate with clients and colleagues from other countries
Nice to have
- Experience with C# and .NET or interest in learning it
- Experience writing unit, integration, or UI tests
- Understanding of REST APIs and experience integrating frontend with backend services
- Basic database interaction knowledge (e.g., SQL Server)
